XRG majors programme

The eXtended Reality, Games and Immersive Systems is a specialized area (major) run by a team of researchers and professionals from the laboratories of the PJAIT XR Research and Development Center (XR Center - XRC). XRC gathers transdisciplinary academic staff experienced in the field of creating eXtended Reality continuum (VR/AR/XR) immersive environments, Unity developers, interface and user experience designers, 2D and 3D graphic designers and content developers, as well as project and team management specialists; all well-versed in modern computer games and immersive virtual environments.
We offer two main diploma paths related to game development and interactive immersive systems:

• Core track: Game Development
• Extended track: XR Research and Development

The program covers practical elements of industry-specific production processes, from market and user research, concept design and rapid prototyping, through software and content development, to tools and methods of teamwork, supplemented with important elements of process documentation, essential to the written part of the diploma thesis.
