XRG Diplomas Showcase 2024

Students

On June 26th a special showcase of the diploma projects of the eXtended Reality, Games and Immersive Systems (XRG) specialized area was held in Aula A/1 at PJAIT main campus in Warsaw.

In the main session, 18 student teams presented their achievements in this year’s XRG specialization.

Experts

We invited guests from Game Dev Industry from such companies like:
Testronic, Slitherine, Popularium, Movie Games, Tripple Espresso, Star Drifters, Goat Gamez and CGI.

Networking

The event concluded with a networking session, during which our students consulted their diplomas with XRG supervisors, Academic Career Office specialists and invited Game Dev experts.

Women In Tech Summit 2024

WIT 2024

On June 12th and 13th XR Students’ Club took part in the annual event The Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024 – one of the largest event in Europe and Asia for women in STEM, Tech & IT with over 14 000 participants.

Presentation

During the event our students from XR_C Students’ Club together with researchers from XR Center PJAIT gave a special presentation on our scientific activities including international cooperation within Alpha-XR Space Research Framework and Volterra-XR Cultural Heritage Framework.

Demonstration

The XR_C Students’ Club presented interactive demos of scientific and students’ XR immersive systems, projects and games, including selected diplomas from XRG specialized area and a virtual reconstruction of ancient Roman theater in Volterra (Tuscany, Italy) as a part of international collaboration with researchers, archaeologists, architects and professionals from United States, Italy and Poland.

Cooperation

As a part of our long-term transdisciplinary collaboration, we have also invited and joined forces with RoboLab PJAIT whose representatives have presented outstanding examples of interactive robotic systems.

Transdisciplinarity

XR_C Students’ Club once again successfully joined forces with students from various departments, fields and units of our academic community including XRG specialized area, New Media Art department (Graphic Design, Interior Design), and RoboLab.
